The Marina is located in the historic Senhouse Dock, which whilst within walking distance of Maryport town centre is quiet and secluded. The old stone harbour walls provide shelter to the Marina from all points of wind. Approximately 190 pontoon berths are available for day boats and vessels up to 20 metres. The gate is generally closed when the water level on the cill is 2.4 metres, (the cill is 3.1 metres above chart datum) giving a tidal window of approximately 2 hours either side of high water. The marina can be accessed by foot 24 hours a day throughout the year, via a security fob system on the predestian gate.
Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly operational staff are available during daylight hours to purchase electric cards, bottled gas, and diesel. Information or other services can be obtain via the operation staff, whilst in the office or through the administration staff during normal office hours times.
